Programme Launch

TYF’s Future Generations Practitioner programme (FGP) launches with a three-part quest that breaks trail for a learning journey exploring the connections between human and environmental wellbeing and the ‘upstream’ solutions that keep people and nature healthy.

The programme is open to young people (12+) and the teachers and parents who’ll coach and support them. FGP is relevant for anyone with an interest in the connections between wellbeing, sustainability, economy and community.

Participants on the FGP will be embarking on a journey of experiential, inquiry-based learning during which they will explore real-world challenges set by health, climate and environment professionals from institutions around the world. The initial three days are a lead-in to the formal launch of the Future Generations Programme on 1st March 2021. The FGP online courses will be free to participants for the first three months of delivery.

Each session will run for two hours, from 18.00–20.00hrs online. The beta programme will be introduced by TYF’s Chief Exploration Officer Andy Middleton and led by legendary science teacher Neil Atkin.
